Sales Room
From time to time we all have parts
or vehicles that we can no longer use and someone else could use and enjoy.
This page is set up for members and friends to list HET related items that are for sale or
items that they are looking for.
Just EMAIL a description of your items and it will be
listed on this page. Be sure to include where the items are located as
transportation, shipping and vehicle inspection are important.

1937 Hudson Terraplane coupe. I have 1956 or 1957 Hornet 7x motor completely rebuilt by Ike Smith. I've got $7,500 invested in motor alone; $2,500 in the coupe, and I will sell them separately if anyone is interested. The car is located in Porterville, and the motor is at my son's house in Bakersfield. Not a problem to trailer the car and pick up the motor so all is in one location. I do better talking about this than writing (actually I'm dictating and my wife is typing!!!). Give me a call if you have any questions or want to talk to Ike about the motor. So what does a guy do with two 54 4dr,Hornets? 1 Hornet has auto transmission, solex windows, twin-H carbs. Engine does turns over. The down side and we did not know it. The rear axel is bad and the brake feeder lines are either missing or damaged. And either #5 or #6 piston possibly broken. Not sure if it is the connecting rods or wrist pins. Fuel pump works well. The other 54 a parts car. Time does not allow removing pistons and axel from the parts car and placing them onto this 54 which does have potential.
The first 54 (89,000) interior is not all that
bad. Rear seats can be salvaged along with the
rear carpet ( I guess you would call it that). Of
course the headliner needs work. Dash is still intact and cleaned up pretty good. Doors are solid and the interior door panels are in good shape. The body itself has seen a few better days. Although over all
it
is pretty straight. All chrome is in good shape and very little if any needs replacing. The car has been garaged for the last year and
is dry.
Like I said what does one do with these cars. I do not have the time to work let start a project. With retirement around the corner we really need to do something with them. Both cars are with my brother in Hillsboro, Oregon. Traeghcy Patterson 800-358-6361 e-6321 [1/08]
